Christian Love
June 23, 2019

This week Pastor Anthony leads us through what our church covenant says about Christian love as we look at 1 John 4:19-21. In June 1967 the British rock band The Beatles first played the iconic song “All You Need is Love” in the height of what would be deemed “The Summer of Love”. This song shaped the world for decades to come as many believe it’s simple words of all you need is love to be true but so many people try to find this love in so many different places. IN this sermon Pastor explores what Christian love looks like, it’s source and how it calls us to action.

Baptism
June 16, 2019

This week Gabe Lee leads us through what our church covenant says we believe about the ordinance of baptism. Romans 6:3 highlights for the reason of our baptism, to show the world that identify with Christ in death, but walk with him in newness of life. We agree that baptism does not save a person but is rather an evidence of the saving work Christ has already done in their life.

June 9, 2019

This week Pastor Anthony leads us through what our church covenant says about salvation and how it lines up with scripture. Through looking at the story of the rich young ruler in Mark 10:17-31 we see that truly following Jesus means we can have no other gods before him.

Grace Is Greater Than Our Hurts
May 26, 2019

As we have been forgiven, we also should forgive. Through the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant in Matthew 18:21-33 we see that when we fail to forgive others that have wronged us it is not them we hurt but ourselves. Forgiveness is essential while non forgiveness is detrimental to our walk with Christ.

From Ichabod to Ebenezer
May 5, 2019

It is important to have stones of remembrance in our lives that point us towards what God has done and has promised to do in the future. These reminders visually declare to us along, with the prophet Samuel that “The LORD has helped us to this point”. God is our Ebenezer, our stone of help, It is by his strength that we have made it through the past trials and the ones to come. We are so very prone to wander, but when we see these reminders we remember to tell the tales of our great God to remind ourselves and teach the future generations what he has done.

Grace Is Greater Than The Trespass
May 5, 2019

As we look at scripture we understand that we have all
have sinned and all deserve God’s wrath. But he chooses to extend to us grace. What great words these are “But the free gift is not like the trespass…” God’s grace is big enough to deal with our sin, our brokenness, and our regrets.
