Acts Chapter 2
Sept 8, 2019

This week we continue our through the book of Acts and see in chapter 2 a pouring out of the Holy Spirit on those at Pentecost. With this all those present heard the message in their own language and were confused prompting them to think maybe the disciples were drunk. Peter Boldly proclaims the gospel. The same Peter who continually put his foot in his mouth, the same Peter that denied Christ times is now boldly declaring the gospel. This spurs a huge reaction from the crowd as the gospel always causes a reaction either we are drawn closer to Christ by it or we reject it and our hearts are hardened, in this case over 3,000 came to know Jesus. And they then began to lead others as we see God daily adding to their numbers.

Acts Chapter 1
Sept 2, 2019

This week we begin a new series through the book of Acts. As we have just finished looking at what it means for our church to covenant together we now will examine the mission of the church. We have established who we are, now let’s look at what we are to do. Pastor Anthony looks at Acts 1:8 “8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”. We are shown the church can only do what is supposed to do by the Power of the Holy Spirit, with the Purpose of the Holy Spirit, and through the Plan of the Holy Spirit.

Faithfully Living In The Word
Aug 18, 2019

Rob Morgan shows us that in Christ we have freedom from sin, but we also have a commitment to Christ. This means we must follow the example set by Christ and the Word of God and love others. Sometimes this requires us to be tough, sometimes it requires us to be gentle. The question is posed can you truly know the world for what it is and still truly love it?

Home Ministry
Aug 11, 2019

Pastor Brad examines the importances of modeling what we learn at church within our homes. A key portion of this is personal and family devotions, we have to know the Bible to live the Bible in our homes. By looking at Deuteronomy 6 we see we are supposed to actively obey and treasure God’s Word in our homes, with our family and friends, and in the marketplace.

Stewardship
Aug 28, 2019

This week, Pastor Anthony looks at why it is so important for the church body to be generous with its time, service, a money. Stewardship requires us to acknowledge that everything we have belongs to the Lord, and he allows us to use it for his glory. He asks us to invest the time, skills, and money he has given to us and we must make a decision to obedient or not trusting that he knows what is best.

Accountability in Church Teaching
July 21, 2019

This week, Pastor Anthony looks at the importance of teaching the truth of Gods Word and that we must test all teaching according to the Word of God, no matter who is the one speaking. We do not want to become lazy and assume teaching is sound just because we trust the ones delivering it. Through looking at 2 Timothy 4 we see that teachers of the Word are held to a high standard and will be accountable for what they teach as well.
