Grace Is Greater Than The Trespass
May 5, 2019

As we look at scripture we understand that we have all
have sinned and all deserve God’s wrath. But he chooses to extend to us grace. What great words these are “But the free gift is not like the trespass…” God’s grace is big enough to deal with our sin, our brokenness, and our regrets.

Prayer: Knock
March 31, 2019

Sometimes we come to God with a request and we pray for it only once. The things that really matter to us, however, we should continue to petition God for. Knocking is a persistent, desperate, asking of God with the expectation that he will answer. It does not give up because it recognizes that God is the only one that can meet this need.

March 24, 2019

People came to Jesus for various reasons. Some like the Pharisees, came look to challenge him. Some like the crowd came to be entertained, looking for yet another astonishing act. However, some come to Jesus looking to truly encounter him. They force their way past the obstacles to get face time with Jesus, because they see him for who he really is.

Prayer: Ask
March 17, 2019

We have heard it said “ask and it will be given to you” but what is the “it” that will be given? The “It” is and answer. When you pray you will be answered. The answer may be yes, it may be no, it may be wait, but one thing is certain you are heard and God will respond. When we pray the Holy God of the universe who sits on his throne and controls everything gives us his attention when we call out to him by faith.
