HOW WE OPERATE

JESUS RULED

JESUS CHRIST ALONE IS THE ONE WHO RULES THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH.

Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

PASTOR LED

PASTORS ARE CALLED BY GOD TO LEAD THE CHURCH IN TEACHING THE WORD AND CASTING VISION.

And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness. Ephesians 4:11-13

MINISTRY TEAM DRIVEN

MINISTRY TEAMS ARE USED WITH THE CHURCH TO GIVE MEMBERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE AND USE THEIR GIFTS SO THAT THE MINISTRY OF THE CHURCH IS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED.

Brothers and sisters, select from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and wisdom, whom we can appoint to this duty. Acts 6:3

CONGREGATION ACCOUNTABLE

THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE CHURCH IS TO BE MADE UP IF BORN-AGAIN BELIEVERS WHO ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. BECAUSE OF THIS, THEY HELP SERVE AS AN ACCOUNTABILITY TO MAKE SURE THE CHURCH STAYS ON TRACK IN ITS MINISTRY.

This proposal pleased the whole company. So they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a convert from Antioch. They had them stand before the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them. Acts 6:5-6

As they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off. Acts 13:2-3
